What I wrote
My book, published by Ten Speed Press and Appetite by Random House, was the culmination of a decade during which I learned not only what it meant to cook for myself, but for my family; as I got married, became a mother, and my tastes and priorities changed. Years when I developed a repertoire of recipes from a home kitchen, and started a career of cooking.
I wrote Seven Spoons in the hope that it would answer the requirements of any and every day. There are festive meals, ones for weeknights, and ones for the times you don’t want to cook. It pulls inspiration from around the world, and I hope you’ll find similar inspiration in its pages.
Seven Spoons won the Taste Canada Award for excellence, and was a national bestseller.
